Pole Choreography

Rhegan Lundborg

I had the sweetest opportunity to join a series called Pole Choreography hosted at Aerial Bombshell here in Omaha, NE. It was an incredibly fun 7 weeks in which we learned new choreography each class to all types of music. At the final class, we performed our own choreographed dance. I filmed every class, however, I decided to wait until the final product to post anything.

I'm chose "High For This" by The Weekend. It is a very sexy song and was very challenging. I'm not a sexy person. I don't do sexy moves. So it was fun to explore moving really slow, doing zero tricks on the pole, and keeping it to a lot of floor-work.

I would do this series again in a heartbeat. The ladies were amazing, supportive, and we had the best instructor ever.

Be kind, please. :) I'm nervous. I got really tired at the end and couldn't wait for the song to end.

Empty Apartment Yoga

Rhegan Lundborg

Yes, my apartment is still pretty much empty (really, really empty).

No, I don't care.

There are actually sketches on the canvases. :)

My pole is down because I can't get it straight (insert dick joke here).

I hate that the carpet is so thick (that's what he/she said), so my balance is wonky.

However, I did a wonderful practice today with a teacher from The practice was amazing, sweaty, and a deep leg/ass killer.

Here's the video if you want to watch.

Five Stones Massage

Rhegan Lundborg

Recently, I got a wonderful opportunity to be a small part of my friend Kelly's new adventure. She has a beautiful soul and a heart of gold. She just opened her new place for massage and birth services as a part of her Five Stones Massage and Birth Services. I'll let you read all about her journey here with Five Stones Birth Services and how she came to be. She is a certified birth doula and a certified Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor and Hypno-doula. Her new website, Five Stones Massage tells you all about how you can contact her for workshops, massages, and the like.

She specializes in the ladies with the babies and their families, but don't be afraid if you don't fit into the prego category. She has a background working in a fitness facility, is a runner and marathon trainer herself, so she can tailor a massage to your needs. Contact the wonderful and amazing Kelly to inquire about any massage questions or birthing services. And in the meantime, take a look at her simple, modern, clean, and incredible new space:

Everyday Angels

Rhegan Lundborg

I am so lucky to be able to be friends with a wonderful woman, Andrea. She is an amazing friend and what she does for a living is something that takes courage, compassion, and a true love of animals and their owners.

She owns a business called Everyday Angels. Here she takes care of your pets, your fur kids, and loved animals/critters when they pass over the rainbow bridge into the next step after life...death. It takes someone incredible to have and love a job such as this one, but she does, and she does it the best.

For many people, myself and my boyfriend Andy included, our pets are our loves. They are our children and we love them and would do anything for them. When they pass it is a deep sorrow we feel. They take up so much love in our hearts and after they leave us, they leave a hole that no other critter or animal can fill. We will be healed one day, but the scars of the loss will remain. Death is just a next step after life, and though it comes as a shock a lot of times, it is through those times we learn our capacity for love.

Andrea is amazing.

I speak of her because now most of you all are pretty aware of my cat Harry who recently died. He was a wonderful little ninja kitty. Andy and I loved our little kit cat so much. I was expecting to spend his entire life making him happy and feeling spoiled. He was our little crazy kitty and of course it was a crazy, freak accident that took him from us.

I am a person who will probably never want children of my own, so I put all my motherly love into my fur kids. I loved my Harry.

It was Andrea who helped keep the memory of him alive. She is one of the most sincere people I know. Right from the beginning our conversations were about Harry, how death is not the end of it all, and how the souls of animals know when to say goodbye, so ultimately, he was at peace. She let me pick out the urn, told us the processes of it all, and never EVER made anything about money. It was all a logical, natural, and sincere process.

Today, death means money and most funeral places, cremation places, and anyone who deals with the death of your loved ones are all about money. Andrea is not like this at all. She truly cares about animals, bugs, life, and that is why she does what she does. Keeping the love alive and giving you items like paw prints, charms, and a beautiful urn, are all ways she achieves this without it feeling like someone is trying to sell you a car. You are in charge of how you want to keep your pet or loved critter alive in your heart and in your home, she is just the facilitator, the amazing person who is there for you to do those things for you.

I wouldn't have known what to do. Before her, I didn't know these things exist for our animal babies, and because of her, I now have a beautiful kitty urn holding Harry in my home forever. I have paw prints that will be framed and hanging to remind me of my loved little Harry-bear. I thank her from the bottom of my heart and I give her the highest rating of a business owner and a friend I could ever give.

Thank you, Andrea.
